Diversity & Inclusion

Celebrating our diverse backgrounds and lived experiences is what makes IDA Ireland a phenomenal place to work. We’re committed to promoting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in the workplace, creating an inclusive environment for clients and team members globally.

Our six EDI pillars are: disability, gender, LGBTQ+, multicultural, neurodiversity, and social mobility. Our EDI Team’s six Pillar Leads and EDI Lead represent a mix of age, gender, seniority, location, and background. Volunteers help with events, information sessions, policy reviews and other activities.

Our motto is “nothing about us without us” and we encourage everyone to take part in our efforts. Through surveys, focus groups, training and events, our EDI Action Plan keeps evolving.

We’re the first public sector organisation to receive the Gold accreditation from the Irish Centre for Diversity (ICD), and in 2023, we were named Public Sector Organisation of the Year at the inaugural National Diversity and Inclusion Awards.
